I stayed for 1 night in a Double Room and loved the well-designed kitchen. It's in a great area—just a short walk to the Rijksmuseum and Heineken Experience. The staff were super friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about helping. The decor is really impressive, too. 🌟

My experience was marred by inconsistent housekeeping services that were a persistent problem for the duration of my stay. I encountered a frustratingly cramped bathroom that felt poorly designed for comfort. the communal areas, while pleasant, did get crowded during peak hours, making it hard to relax in what should have been a serene spot.

The breakfast offered had some decent options, and the communal areas provided a comfortable atmosphere to unwind after a busy day exploring. I enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen facilities in the room, making it easy to prepare snacks and drinks when needed.
Despite the hotel’s appeal, I found the room size a bit cramped, especially given the premium rates. There were no cleaning services during my two-night stay, which felt inadequate. I expect more for the cost. Plus, the lack of variety in toiletries was noticeable and could use improvement. The TV setup was frustrating, as it wasn’t user-friendly when trying to connect devices. The overall pricing, especially for bike rentals, felt a bit over the top. while the stay was enjoyable, these quirks hindered it from being exceptional.

Amsterdam vibes 🇳🇱
Loved the cozy double room, really lekker design and super close to the museums. Staff were amazing, ja, no—Saeed was such a chommie at reception! The kitchenette made it easy to whip up snacks after a long day exploring.
Only thing was the bathroom was a bit tight, had to squeeze in there.

The Citadines provided a lovely stay during my week-long visit. The Classic Room featured a cozy atmosphere and a well-designed kitchenette, which made it feel like home. The location is perfect—central yet surprisingly quiet. I appreciated the comfortable bed and efficient Wi-Fi that enabled me to work without distraction. Free coffee and tea in the common area was a great perk. there were some downsides. The housekeeping service was inconsistent. I didn’t receive cleaning on a couple of days as expected, which was a bit frustrating. the bicycle rental policy requires committing to a full day, making it less convenient for a quick ride around the city. Despite these issues, I’d definitely consider returning for the overall comfort and staff's helpfulness.

The central yet tranquil setting provides a pleasant escape. Enjoyed the free coffee and fresh fruit in the common room during my work sessions. The breakfast had high-quality options, but was limited in variety. On the downside, the inconsistency in housekeeping was frustrating, as I experienced missed cleanings. the shower had drainage issues, which left a negative impression.

Great location and wonderful coffee
I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the studio's spacious layout and the perfectly equipped kitchenette, which made it feel like home. The best part was the coffee machine that brewed delightful drinks anytime we wanted. The location was an absolute win too, being close to public transport and just a stroll away from shops and restaurants. I think housekeeping could improve on promptly addressing specific requests, as I had an issue with my bedding that wasn't resolved during my entire stay.
